If you’re just starting out in affiliate marketing I recommend you do a couple of things -

First focus on refining your niche and learning about your audience’s needs and wants
Once you know the most painful problems or the strongest desires of the people you connect with, focus your list building and content strategy on meeting that need

As you build your influence, find products that help deal with the same problems and motivations you’ve learned your audience has, and test some different promotions to see what sells

Focus your affiliate marketing efforts on fewer products and deeper promotions – by that I mean try and become a dominant affiliate for just one or two products by doing repeat promotions and testing different formats (reviews, email marketing, pod-cast interviews, etc) and then use that as a point of leverage to open doors to affiliates to promote your product, once you create one to sell

Always have your audience’s needs as a first priority, so put relationships before profits and don’t be afraid to say no (don’t be greedy for money, be greedy for helping people and you will make more money)

Cluster around those who are making progress in their affiliate business and have some of the as mentors. Have a participatory spirit as this will help you out on launching your product in the future.

Each success as an affiliate will help you take a step up the ladder to more success. Once you have found a hot niche market, you need to try and find out if there is sufficient buyers’ interest within that niche, which are willing and able to buy.

Here are the 4 steps I recommend;

#1. Check their Demographics
This is very important. As the sex, ages, location, and status of the people in that niche matters a lot. Most people will be interested but only for free tips and downloads and not really having the ability to make a purchase.

#2. Check their interest level
At this stage you really want to see what people are saying about this market. Do need to see comments and testimonials to assure you that you are right on path. Go research this out.

#3. Check on forums and chat rooms.
Are people looking for this information or what you did with the Google keywords were just a flick. Test to see. Watch what people are saying here. To check if they are willing to pay, post a comment as if you got this product but the merchant was asking for xxxx price and you could not buy you felt it should be free, ask what they think?
Comment here will reveal a lot to you.

#4. Google the product name
If you see a lot of adverts on the side bar at least 7 you should think it a good niche to try out. If more than 15 very affirmative as these people are not paying good money for advert for the fun of it.

It is estimated that more than 1-billion people get online daily and that is about 30billion repeat visits every month! That is massive.
We need to get some slice of that traffic. How? Let dive into this post and see what we can do to benefit from this statistic.
Just having a beautiful website or blog is not enough, even with the best of content if you have no traffic, you will be like a beautiful woman with no suitors! If you are into monetizing your site/blog then without traffic you will be broke and frustrated.

Here’s My 9 Checklist for Writing a Killer Article Title!

Hi,
After several years of testing out all kinds of articles, I have to tell you that the #1 factor for getting article views is the title. Always!
Your traffic is determined by your title!

1. Write your title as if it’s a mini-headline. That means a powerful message, with no excess words or fluff.

2. What’s in it for your reader? If the title states a benefit for the reader, that’s perfect.

3. Keep it short. People skim online; they don’t read carefully. A short title that gets to the point can be grasped with just a glance.

4. Study the titles of “Most Viewed” articles in your niche. Look for patterns, key words, or terms, and model your titles after the most popular articles.

5. Look at the articles in your niche. Which titles do YOU like the best? Which ones grab your eye immediately?

6. Use lists and numbers. My personal favorite titles always seem to contain a number or a list. For example, “6 Ways to Kick Your Junk Food Habit Today” or “3 Stock Investment Nightmares You Must Avoid.”

7. Hot tip! Try a negative title. I’ve found that a warning or other negative message can get a lot more views. So tell people what NOT to do in the title, like this: “6 Things You Must Not Eat if You’re On a Diet” or “3 Things You Should Never Say to a Car Salesman.”

8. Take weak titles and pump them up. For example… Here’s what I’d consider a weak title: “Preparing Yourself to Win Every Time.” To make it stronger, I’d first add a number and a list:

“3 Ways to Guarantee You’ll Win Every Time.”
To make it even stronger, I’d make it more specific:
“3 Ways to Guarantee You’ll Win Your Next Argument”
And maybe I’d even add the negative element to test it out:
“3 Things NOT to Say if You Want to Win an Argument”

9. If you can get your keyword into the title, great; but if not, don’t sweat it. Keywords are necessary if you want your articles to help you with SEO. In fact, if SEO is your primary purpose, you should start your title with the keyword. EzineArticles.com has very good Google PageRank, and its articles often get good search engine placement. So a good 3+ word keyphrase in your title can help get your article ranked well in the search engines. But I have found that for marketing and sales purposes — for getting those page views, click-throughs, and sales — putting your keyword first don’t always work very well. So it’s a trade off. In my experiments, I’ve found that I usually get less short-term views with a keyword in the title. But I will get more views, longer term, from the SEO value of the keyword with search engine rankings (that’s if I do all the other work for proper SEO).

I can’t stress enough the importance of your article titles — they will literally make or break your marketing efforts!
So please, take some time to study the titles of the most popular articles in your niche. And pay special attention to authors who are doing list-based articles.

“Get Rich Quick Scams Revealed”






Read this special article before you consider joining or paying for a “Get Rich Quick” program.

Dear Friend,
…. Wouldn’t it be nice to make a bundle of money quickly, minimal effort working at home with your pajamas? Of course it would. I for one would love to have money flowing into my bank account, working only a few hours a week from home so I would spend more time with my kids and family without any boss looking over my shoulders.

Whether its real estate investing, selling ads, stocks market investing, internet affiliate marketing, or something else, we’ve all seen the fantastic claims people make about making tons of money, AND how they can show you how to do the same thing. I can tell you right now that 99% of these people are total frauds. You may have even fallen prey to one of these scams artist, selling you their latest “get rich quick” program. Me too. I’ve bought so many of these programs that I can’t recall how many. I don’t know why, but I tend to find the good in people I was sold by the marketing schemes time and time again, even after been scammed by another.

Finally, after so many disappointments, I got FED UP. I decided to get to the bottom of this fascination we all have with get rich quick programs, and find out if there really were any LEGITIMATE programs for making money.

I literally contacted the administrator of every get rich quick website I could find, posing as an investor; I managed to convince the owners that I was seriously interested in purchasing their entirely websites and business. That way, once the dollars signs flashed in their heads, they would give me free access to their member’s areas to review what I would be “buying”. Well, I was disgusted with 99% of what I found. Many of the owners actually boasted about how many people bought their useless programs. I repeatedly found:

Outdated information
Non- working links
Links leading to other sites that asked for more money
No help section
No real email support
No refunds


I quickly realized that these so-called Get Rich Quick program were totally useless. And the owners knew it, yet they were laughing all the way to the bank! Needless to say, I didn’t respond when they asked if I was still interested in buying their websites. Surprisingly, while sifting through all of the scam artist’s websites, I was able to locate a couple of individuals that actually ran legitimate programs.

The owners were every day people like you and me that found a way to make extra money working from home on their computers. Their membership areas were very impressive, with a good amount of quality information on how to make $100-$200 per day on your computer doing very little work. I even chatted with a few of the customers in several online forums, and they verified that they were making extra money through the sites. It was like I found a few diamonds in the rough. But don’t take my word for it, you can visit the 5 sites I found below. See what you think.

They do charge a minimal fee for access to their program, which is to be expected for any legitimate company that actually has people on their payroll who are dedicated to helping you get started. What a friendly group of people! Anyway, if you do decide you are interested in any of the product/programs below, I advise you join quickly, as the owners have informed me that they are getting so many new members by word of mouth referrals, that they will be closing off membership completely in the next few days.(by the way you didn’t hear this from me!) They don’t have a large enough staff to accommodate many more people, and they are dedicated to providing excellent service to each person.
Well, my search for legitimate Get Rich Quick programs has come to an end. I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed with most of what I found and I strongly advised that you do not take chances joining any programs or products other than the ones listed below!

8 Internet SCAMS To Watch Out For...


Dear Friend,
Chances are, you've fallen for some of the online SCAM artists out there who promised to help you make money, but are really just out to screw you.
After all, how can you tell the fakes, frauds, and crooks from the legit people who can really help you?
This is actually pretty easy. I will be covering some of the flash point to watch out for in this post. Stay with me.
Now you have to know what to look for to see if some "guru" is legit or not.
So here's a checklist you can use to tell if someone who wants to teach you how to make money is for real... or a goof.

1. Do they show you proof?
Do they provide proof of the money they make?If not, then chances are they're fakers.On their site, let them show you actual checks and accounts with their names, which clearly give you an idea of how much money they make. Or you can ask/call/ email them for a proof anyone who DOESN'T do this is trying to hide something.

2.Do they rely on hype?
I can spot a con artist a mile away, because they're always saying "You MUST get this!"And using every lame marketing technique they've read about to convince you to buy something.
Real marketers don't need to rely on hype, because they know how to get people to WANT to buy their stuff.
The real deals offer actual VALUE, instead of hype. In fact, if you look at some merchant website, they don't even CARE if people buy their course. Infact, sometimes they tell them NOT to.
What kind of a scammer would tell you not to buy his fake-A$$ product?

3. Their marketing is everywhere.
People who make actual money are everywhere.You can find their ads on websites, their sites in the search engines, and their content is all over the place.
Scammers don't like to market their material.They just want to hop in, make a quick buck,and hop out.If you look at REAL businesses, you'll see that their ads run everywhere - internet, TV, radio, cpa networks etc.
Scammers can't afford to give their business wide exposure, because they'll be found out if too many people see what they're up to.
4. No customer support?
Scammers and frauds don't care about their customers. They don't answer technical issues, or customer satisfaction issues.Great product owners handsomely pay a group of highly skilled people to offer their customers unlimited support.
If your queries for help are going unanswered,it's a good chance you're being duped.

5. Refusal to give refunds?
If you see someone say "You're not allowed to ask for a refund," chances are they are a FRAUD.
They are selling you crap, worthless goods! Advice? RUN!!
Whether they hide it in their privacy policy,or state it in their sales material, that is a CLEAR sign they want to take your money and run!
Seriously read private policy content before you buy things online it will help you to see some red flags!
Great product owner are sometimes rich, and don't care about your few dollars. If you're unhappy, they’ll give you a refund no problem but they may never have to deal with you anymore, which is understandable.

6. Their products just don't work
This is probably the easiest way to spot a fake. If you use their material and it doesn't do what they say it will.
Please don’t be scared, RETURN IT! And ask for a refund.
So many so-called "gurus" churn out crap that doesn't work.
Only few online courses WORKS! And I know just few of them.

7. Google the product or the name of the site
This really saved me from getting scammed more than once!
I almost filled in my details on a particular offer, then in a flash I decided to check it out on Google, and I found tons of people who made the mistake and were complaining about this particular merchant as a fake!
I was saved.

8. Go check this out on various forum.
Every good product out there mostly have a forum talking about it.
Check them out.
Watch was others are saying about this product and make up your mind.

Self education is a great potential as more and more people are getting associated with the internet distance learning. Here is a need that is still growing by the day.
Men are more reported by the survey to go online to get information on news than women. The youth are more on getting education in this sector.

2. Have Fun
Loads of people get online just to have fun! This is a total shocker for me.
Under this category we have:

· Escape Reality 66%

For Pass Time which rank highest in all, it shows everybody goes online sometimes when they have nothing to engage them, so it your joy to see if you can attract this set of people to your site and get them to read your content and probably buy something from you. Men go online to be entertained more than women, while both youth and seniors are going online to have fun! This reveals a huge market potential.

3. Socialize
Surely most people these days want to connect with their friends, family members, business associates or make friends online.
Here are the subcategories;

· Be part of a community 72%

The social places like Facebook, Squidoo, Twitters, etc has helped in connecting people so much that everyday loads of people go online for this. Forum marketing is also picking up 72% and 76%.
Women do this more than men as they are natural in expressing themselves .Youth also are for socializing. We can take advantage here to sign on to these places and make friends, and help people with thoughtful advice and content and them place your links to your sites and see if we can redirect these crowds to your pages. This is best viral tool if you care to know.

Surprisingly this category comes 4th ahead of doing business. People love to express themselves and they go online to do this. Although the percentage is still low but there is huge market here as you find customize product for these people to engage them with and probably entertain them, the music category and sport are in these section. It shows our artiste are still not doing much online, we as internet marketers can take this market and turn gold out of it, by creating a place for this category of people. Women are more in the expression game and youths are also doing a lot here.
5 Advocate
· Influence Others 56%
· Activate Support 52%
· Join a Cause 26%
Leadership is a sector that I love so much and it’s about influencing others and creating support or motivation, this sector is still growing. We can do more by creating leadership and motivating sites and create offers for this people. But bad examples is the bane of this category, as most leaders don’t come online to do their leading, instead they are so busy offline, bloggers can use this media to reach their fan club and connect to them and see if we can help to be better than they are now. Great niche, if you ask me.
6. Do Business
· Work 69%
· Manage finances 30%
· Sell 19%
I know most Internet marketers will be shocked at this result. Well me too. I was expecting this to be probably the number one reason or two reason people go online, but we are wrong, we only think so because most times that is why we go online. The also shocking news here is that only 19% goes online to sell things, it shows there are more buyers than seller, huge market!
Most people who go online is because of work related issues,
Men are more into this than women. I think women should begin to also show interest here because they are better communicators than men and can easily sell. Finances are a sore part in people’s lives and then most people are careful not to involve their resources online. The scam thing I think is still affecting this sector. Let’s see how it goes in the next couple of months!

7. Shop
The niche subcategories are;
· Purchase 33%
· Compare 28%

Both men and women do this but women are more in this sector. 33% do their purchase online. I think that is great news for marketers. It also shows the potential is growing. But the subtle niche there is the compare niche. It shows more people want to compare first before they buy. Here reviews site are going to capture this folks and them help them to make buying decisions, thereby making some money for themselves.

Finally, I think these are great areas we could position our sites or blog to reach this people and become an authority in that area and create value for them and then finally sell something to them.

Rob Benwell Blogging-To-The-Bank-3; A Well Designed Product? I Disagree!


Hi,
I have frantically searched for true ways to make money from blogs for many years my efforts were fruitless, until I laid my hands on this all-laid-out masterpiece by Rob Benwell. Yet at first I had my doubts!

Blogging to the Bank 3 works! Is what a friend screams after he makes his first sales in less than 12hrs of reading the book!

If you are one of those passionate bloggers who, has tried without any headway to monetize their blogs, you surely have seen that making money online is not funas was preached by others. But for a change in your online sojourn, go read this masterpiece. It changed blogging forever! Rob provided some new and old ways to make money out of your blog while still having fun.
Back in 2005, Rob was struggling to make any profit online. He had dropped out of college and he was getting deep into debt, trying all the techniques that the gurus were dishing out and going nowhere.He started using his own techniques and suddenly found himself swimming in cash by using simple blogs, and he shared those techniques with the world in a 2006 ebook called Blogging to the Bank. He then spoke at online marketing legend Yanik Silver's Underground Seminar and revealed even more of his underground strategies. Tons of people got rich from using these techniques (including me).

Rob has tweaked his strategies since then and this is where Blogging to the Bank 3 comes into play. It's full of great new techniques that work online right now! Everything is explained in plain language, no technical stuff that could scare you. I got hold of an advanced copy of the book for a much higher price than what it actually sells for and it has been worth every single cent! I got it in the afternoon and by the evening I was creating new profitable blogs. Within a couple of hours of them being active I had made a nice little profit.
Rob discusses the impact this release had on blogs (particularly Blogger blogs) and how this led to the creation of his five blogging commandments. The five blogging commandments are what Rob believes are essential for your blogs success and provide an overview of the whole ebook. Obviously, I the only shortcoming in this book is that advanced bloggers will get little from it as the ebook focuses on how bloggers can make great wealth. Rob's ebook by revealing them here but they do contain some good information to keep your visitors coming back and reading your blog. After this introduction Rob gets into the main body of his ebook.
Rob begins by discussing Market Research & Key phrase Lists. This is a very important stage as it ultimately determines what you will be blogging about. Rob emphasizes the importance of taking your time and discusses how you can find affiliate products using ClickBank. He also describes how to do some basic keyword research using a couple of free tools. Overall, I found this chapter to be a great introduction to affiliate marketing and in particular keyword research. Before reading the chapter I knew almost nothing about keyword research and whilst I'm still no expert I now know the basics of optimizing my blog and its pages.
Rob then moves on to discuss creating your blog. First, he outlines how to actually install your blog. Then he moves on to discuss the four options available to you when getting content for your blog. After this he outlines how to optimise, monetise and ping your blog. Overall, this section of Blogging to the Bank 2.0 contains a lot of good information. I was particularly impressed by Rob's use of screenshots and instructions to explain his ideas. I'm a big fan of screenshots and feel they really help beginners. The section on monetization was also a real help for me too. My main criticism of this section was that Rob does not explain how to automate the pinging of your blog. This is a relatively simple process but for some reason Rob ignores it.
If you have followed Rob's instructions up to this point you should have your blog ready to go. Logically, Rob goes on to outline how you can promote your blog and get some traffic. The topics he covers in this section include basic promotion techniques (including article syndication, forum marketing and link exchanges) and Web 2.0 techniques.
Web 2.0. is a phrase that describes the trend in web development towards creativity, collaboration and sharing between users (good examples of successful Web 2.0. websites are Facebook and YouTube).
Whilst the basic promotion techniques are good, I was very impressed with the Web 2.0. section. Before reading this chapter I had stuck primarily to article marketing but now I have my first Squidoo lens out there and I am getting a lot of extra traffic from social book- marking sites. My main criticism about this chapter is the section on DIGG (a social book-marking site). Whilst Rob did open my eyes to a very good resource he did not make it clear that DIGG will ban you if you just submit your own blog posts, which is what happened to me.
Rob finishes his ebook by discussing some advanced techniques including outsourcing the creation of your blogs, creating your own product in the market you are blogging for and even selling your blog. I have not tried any of the techniques in this section yet but I am planning on creating some of my own products to sell to my blog readers.
Overall I believe the book is worth it and great if you are serious of making good money this year.
