The Most Important Thing in Online Business.

There are many arguments on what is most important to do in Internet marketing. Many ramblings and suggestions flying everywhere on the net. To me, what is important is important as the person who is doing the task . What I believe most IM don’t do is to prioritize their efforts.

• Having a great
• squeeze page
• a great sales copy
• a powerful product
• great content blog
• swift marketing

All these are very important in their own way
What many Newbie don’t do is to know what to do at each moment and do it very well.
That leads me to the most important thing in IM.

FOCUS.

Yes you heard me right.
Focusing on a thing per time will bring you great success as you are able to channel all your energies at a given direction and this has a way in producing great result.
Stop trying to do everything at the same time.
Stop pursuing different niches all at once, it will dissipate your energy and break your will to be effective.

So how can you be focus?

• Outline your tasks.
• Prioritize them according to your intended goals.
• plan on paper all you will need to accomplish this task; contacts,
resources, find a way to make sure all is set to help you accomplish this
task.
• Place a time tag on each task and commit to follow through.
• Find a way to measure your progress to ascertain how you are doing.
• Be accountable to someone or a group of people. I will advise you join a
mastermind group, if you can.
• If you are losing focus, find something to encourage yourself with.
• List the rewards you and those that might benefit if you accomplish this
task.
• Look ahead towards the rewards if you accomplished this task.

Then…

Give yourself a pat on the back if you did accomplish the task.
Then repeat the same process for the next task.

Oh, you may be saying this don’t just work for me.

Why?

It could be that you are getting distracted. This is very common if you want to do something worthwhile.
I suggest you don’t whine and give up, if many lazy people I know are doing this, you could fare better.
Let’s see if I could help with some suggestions. Ok let’s see what we have here.
Hmmmmm….

How to avoid distractions
-shut out all unplanned activities, be mean about this!
-go to a place where you are likely not to be distracted
-put off that TV!
-set a timeline to every task you attempt with details
-have some liquid around you for proper memory alertness. This will sure help, trust me.

So there you go. Go ahead and set a task to accomplish this week.
Follow this plan, you will be shocked how much you have accomplish at the end of the day.
Remember take on a task that you can finished in a reasonable time for that task. Don’t take on more than you can chew per time. This can be frustrating and energy sapping.
Enough of talking lets go take some action. Later dude.

Take care.

How to Get Ideas for Niche Topics

When I decide it’s time to look for a new profitable niche, here’s how I get ideas…I watch TV!

#1: Watch the News!

Turn on your local news channel and CNN and keep your eyes and ears open. Focus on ALL the stories, not just the news items — pay attention to sports (especially controversies), health features, entertainment news, technology and gadgets, human interest…everything!

If you can find some twist or angle in the media that can be tied in with a niche you’re interested in, you can be pretty sure there will be traffic to that niche and readers for your articles!

Also remember that “news” doesn’t have to mean just the headlines of the hour. The results of product tests or research, new product announcements, new techniques, new research results, offbeat or crazy new ideas — all these can be labeled “news.”

You can also use Google’s New Alerts service to get fast news links based on keywords.

Go to http://www.google.com/alerts to sign up.

#2: Watch the Talk Shows

All those funny, weird, interesting or controversial talk show hosts who spin opinions on everything under the sun are a great source of ideas. All Oprah has to do is mention a product or a topic on her show and millions of people are searching for it!

Trust me, watch Oprah’s recommendations and guest names. The search volumes on those skyrocket the day of — and the day after — they appear on the show.

#3: Watch “Niche News” Shows

You can get a lot of great ideas from those entertainment and celebrity news shows, financial news reports, business news segments, and technology news shows. Remember that you’re looking for a way to take something “newsy” and tie it in with your niche.

#4: Watch Infomercials!

It’s 2:00 a.m. and you can’t sleep? Do some niche research by watching infomercials! If a product developer is paying to promote their gadget, weight loss system, self-help system, etc. on TV, then there’s a very good chance of it being a good niche.

And sometimes the products on infomercials have an affiliate program, which is great. You can then write articles that are direct reviews of the product. These types of review articles usually have the highest conversions.

As you watch TV, start making a flat list of ideas, like this:

-Acne
-Wrinkle removal
-Skin care
-Botox
-Scar treatments

So go out there and find some profitable niches for yourself. I will discuss how to get to the front page of goggle next time.
